Pay Rate: Day $44.61 / Night $62.46

About the Role:

We are currently seeking a skilled and safety-focused Track Machine Operator to operate specialised rail plant and equipment. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in maintaining, repairing, and operating on-track machinery across rail infrastructure projects.

Key Duties:

• Operate and maintain a variety of machines on track

• Perform daily pre-start checks and minor maintenance on plant

• Follow safe work procedures and report any hazards or incidents

• Work closely with supervisors, engineers, and ground crews

• Ensure timely completion of works with minimal disruption to rail operations
  
  
• Perform manual handling duties when machines not required

Requirements:

• Previous experience operating track machines (essential)

• Current RIW card (Rail Industry Worker)

• Valid machine competencies and VOCs

• Valid TMO heavy ticket + Cat 1 Medical

• Strong understanding of rail safety protocols and procedures

• Willingness to work night shifts, weekends, and outside of the machine when required

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
